A red Christmas tag

Hello!
Today I am showing you a Christmas tag that I made for a Christmascard swap in the Kit and Clowder group! Loved the idea of switching cards with each other and here's my take on it!

I used Maja Design's A gift for you paper collection and a gorgeous set of stamps by Joy of Crafts that I was fortunate enough to borrow from a friend since I can't buy it in Sweden.

Here is my Christmas tag!

I used Memorybox poinsettia die to make the flowers, love that die! I heat embossed the flowers with a red glitter embossing powder. I also heat embossed the sentiment from Joy of Crafts with Gold embossing powder and cut it out with a Spellbinder die. The angels are made with Martha Stewart clay and angel molds from an etsy store.

I hope my recipient will like this!
Happy crafting :)

An Angel's Christmas Card

Hi!

Here's my latest Christmas card! Love the cute angel images I found on Etsy and they fit perfect for my kind of Christmas cards :)

Here's my card!

Here's a close-up at the image I bought on Etsy. I have put on some Frantage Shabby Blue to make it sparkle a little :)

Here's a lovely Christmas tree I made with a Memorybox die. Love swirly swirls and this tree is just perfect!

I have used Maja Design's Vintage Frost paper collection for this card and the ski's and snowflakes are made with it of course. The beautiful angel sitting in the lower left is made with Martha Stewart clay and a gorgeous mold found on Etsy. I have played with Frantage Shabby Blue here as well ;)

Here's a blue poinsettia made with Spellbinders and Frabtage Shabby Blue. The Christmas stockings are made with a Memorybox die and Maja Design's paper and Frantage Shabby Blue. There's a little angel besides the cabochon as well and it's also made with a mold from Etsy and Martha Stewart clay.

I made an easel card today and the little oval to write your greetings in are made with a Spellbinders die. I used GoKreate Large Frame Frilly #7 to make the card's shape.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy crafting :)

A shabby chic Christmas card!

Hi!
Today I want to share a Christmas card I made without a coloured image and with LOTS of frantage!!! I love layering different dies on each other, it's such a challenge getting a balance in everything and a fun way to craft!

Here's my card! This time I made an easelcard and that was a long while ago since I made one!!

I have used Maja Design's A gift for you design collection for this card and GoKreate Large Frame Frilly #7 for the card's shape. I found the image in an etsy store and love it!

I have used a lot of Frantage Enamel Shabby Pink on almost every decoration on this card.. I have also tried out a couple of new dies I bought, The ski equipment and snowflake is by Marianne Design and the firtree "spray" (don't know what it's called in English!) is by Cherry Lynn dies :)

Here's a close-up at an angel of Martha Stewart clay that I made with gorgeous angel molds that I have been looking for for months! I have covered it with Frantage ;) the flowers are made with Spellbinders Shapeabilities Layered Poinsettias and Frantage Enamel Shabby Pink.

Here's a close-up at the ski equipment and another, smaller angel I also made with Martha Stewart clay and another mold I found while looking for the first one!

Well, a little different card from me since it's without a coloured image.. I must say that I really love working with both printed images and coloured images.. :)

Happy crafting!

Here's my card!

Here's Tilda in cozy coat! :) I have stamped the background with postage stamps from both Magnolia stamps Postcard and Stempelglede Postcard from Paris and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I have also used a Pearlmaker pen to make pearl dots on the image. I have used Spellbinders Nestabilities Stately Circles for the shape behind the image.

Copic Combinations:
Skin: E000, E04, E11, E21, E00, R20
Hair: E57, E43, E53

Posca pen for white dots

Here is a close-up at the tag I made for this card. I used Joy Crafts Tag die for the tag and Versamark EMbossing Ink and Frantage Enamel Shabby Pink on it. The white is made with Gesso from Martha Stewart.

Here's one of the flowers that I made with Spellbinders Shapeabilities Layered Poinsettias dies. I have used a sticky embossing powder and then Crystal glitter on them. I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage for the mistletoes. The snowflake is made with a Martha Stewart punch.

Here's another close-up at the flower arrangements. I used a little snowman charm to emphasize the winter and christmas theme :)

Here's the sentiment, made with a Magnolia stamp and WoW Champagne embossing powder and Maja designs design paper.

I am so in love with making Christmas cards right now! :D

Tilda With Big Big Rose Christmas Card

Hi!

I am on a roll with my Christmas cards! This was a fun card to make, because it was such a challenge! I am not a fan of Christmas colours red and green so I decided to colour her in a more Christmas way than I usually would. This is the result and it kind of makes me laugh, because I think the green is the only thing that feels like Christmas in the image haha! But hey, it gave it me courage to actually colur her up again with a red dress and green shoes and I will share a card with her later :)

Here is my card! I wanted to have a smooth and soft card to this image to make the colours pop. I used design papers from Maja Design A gift for you collection and lots of white cardstock for all the die-cuts! I used GoKreate Large Frame Frilly #2 for the card's shape.

Here is a close-up at Tilda with big big rose :) I used white outlines which I made a tutorial for yesterday and you can find it here! I coloured her with Copics and stamped around the image with Stempelglede stamps and Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

Copics used:
Skin: E000, E04, E11, E21, E00, R20 Eyes W7
Hair: E57, E43, E53
Dress: RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91, W7
Shoes: G99, G94, G21, YG11
Rose: R59, R46, R29, R81

Here's a close-up at the tags I made with a Joy Crafts tag die. I stamped them with Stempelglede and Magnolia stamps and Distress Ink Vintage Photo. I also stamped "Merry Christmas" with a Magnolia stamp, Versamark and heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder.

I have used MemoryBox Spruce Tree to the right and stamped with Stempelglede and Distress Ink Vintage Photo on them. I have also out some Versamark on them and then Frantage Enamel Shabby White.

I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage dies and Spellbinders Shapeabilities Layered Poinsettia for the flower arrangements. I inked them with Versamark and heat embossed them with Frantage Enamel Shabby White.

And here's a close-up at the handmade cabochon decoration. I used paper from Maja Design Vintage Frost collection and used the Santa ovals that com with it for this cabochon. I used Glossy Accent to glue the glass cabochon together with the paper and let it dry for about a day. Then I glued it onto a silver frame charm.

The last close-up :) i used a pin decoration that I found at wild Orchid Crafts about a year ago.

That's my card! Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!

Vita linjer-tutorial!/White outlines tutorial!

Hej!

Hello everyone!

Before I start I just want to let you know that this tutorial will be in both Swedish and English since I have friends and followers from all over the world! :)

I got a request on how to do the white outlines I sometimes colour my images with and here it is! :) This is the result you may have when you have done this and coloured up your image.

Okej, då kör vi igång! Detta är vad du behöver:
-Vitt embossingpulver

Alright, let's go! This is what you will need for this:
-White embossing powder
-Some kind of Embossing Ink, Distress EMbossing Ink will work just fine, but I prefer Versamark since it's more sticky and make the powder stick better.
-A heat gun
-Stamp and an acrylic block
The right paper for the medium you will be using to colour, I used a paper for my Copics.

Börja med att fästa stämpeln på akrylblocket.

Start with placing the stamp on the acrylic block.

Now let's ink up that stamp with Versamark!

I usually use the pad to ink the stamp up, instead of laying the stamp on the pad, since I find it gives a more ven result with the ink on the stamp.

Stämpla på pappret :)

Stamp the image on the paper! :)

Now you have an image with transparent and kind of sticky outlines.

Now it's time for the white embossing powder! It might be a good idea to have a piece of paper under the colouring paper since it will be easier to pour the embossing powder back into the jar afterwards.

Pour the embossing powder over the whole image. Don't worry if you pour the entire jar over the image, you just pour it back in the jar later :)

Shake off the excess of embossing powder on the piece of paper you have under the stamped image and pour the embossing powder back into the jar.

Here's a step I know not many do, but I think it makes the resultat much better - let's erase the eyes!
I think the white eyes are kind of scary actually.. :D I used a brush to gently brush off the eyes and freckles on her cheeks. I colour these in with Copics later.

Nu är hon redo att embossas!

Now she's ready to be heat embossed!

Ta fram din värmepistol...

Bring out your heat gun..

... och börja värma motivet! När linjerna blivit blank är den klar. Nu kan du börja färglägga! :)

... and start heating the image! When the lines have become shiny, you're finished :) Now you can start to colour!

So, that's how you make white outlines! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send a comment here or a pm on Facebook :) Good luck with your white outlined images!
