The guests were given the option to play with 6 images from the new collection and I chose to get creative with Curious Alice and the Tea Party-stamps in one creation and the Steampunk Caterpillar-stamp in another :)


Here's my first card with Curious Alice and the Tea Party - it's a congratulationcard! I used some unconventional colors for Alice in this card, because I love to play with colors ;) And on this card I've made two handmade roses, the little purple one and the large purple one in each corner. For tutorial of the rose (it's in Swedish but lots of pics ;) ) check it out here

On this card I made one of my handmade roses. I made it in white cardstock and when it was done I inked it with Adirondack Color Wash Wild Plum, let it dry and then I sprayed it with some Perfect Pearl-mist. 

 
I used Joy of Crafts new butterfly-die twice on this card! First I used it with the same deep purple paper as the underlying card. Then I used the die with white paper, cut the line the butterflies are coming up from and then put them together so it looks a little 3D-like! I also used a Magnolia hearttag-die with the same designpaper as the bottom of the card. I made the bows with a fork and used some fitting charms for this card.. :)

And my next project is a little different... Both from what I've done earlier and from the card above.. :) I present to you... The Steampunk Caterpillar in a tag/bookmark!!! :D

I love this stamp, it's so cool and awesome and this is my first stamp colored completely with Distress Ink Pads! It was really fun but the technique differ from my usual with the watercolorpens.

I inked the tag with some Vintage photo-distress but when the tag was almost done something was missing.. The Vintage photo-color didn't quite add up to the colorful image, so I decided to go nuts with some Adirondack Color Wash Red Pepper and Meadow! It changed the whole tag! As you can see I also used two beautiful charms, a birdcage and a little key. 

I challenged the whole macho-guy-thing with a cute and sincere stamp from Forever Friends. :) My idea from the beginning was to make a sweet and cute card with Sweet Alice and the Tea Party, and then rock a little bit with the Steampunk Caterpillar. But something steampunky can also be cute, without actually being cute, right?! ;) I don't know, but I think it was suiting with that sentiment here :)
