Rose Garden (MFT) with Finetec Artist Mica Watercolours card

Hi!

I am back with a new card using Finetec Artist Mica Watercolours on black paper (Van Gogh)! Today's stamp is Rose Garden by My Favorite Things. I really love this stamp and had so much fun colouring it up! I inked it with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with WoW Opaque White embossing powder before colouring it up. I stamped the sentiment with HeroArts pigment ink Unicorn and I splattered some green paint (same as on the leaves) over the card and finished it off with some gorgeous sequins.

An alcohol ink birthday card (MFT)

Hello!

Now that spring is here (well it was the last week anyway!) I have pulled out my alcohol inks and been creating outside! This is a birthday card for my lovely husband who turns 40 years old today! <3 

I used Tim Holtz Alcohol inks, Monsoon, Mermaid and Alloy Statue for this card. I then cut out the sentiment with a Happy Birthday Script die by My Favorite Things, on golden cardstock (so much more shiny in reality than it shows on this photo). A clean and simple card with so much effect!

Magnolia Blossoms (MFT) card

Hello!

I am having so much fun with my new Finetec Artist Mica Watercolours on black watercolour paper (Van Gogh) and this is my latest card! I have used a stamp from a stamp set by My Favorite Things called Magnolia Blossoms. I inked the stamp with Versamark ink and used Ranger Bubbly embossing powder for the outlines (and sentiment) I also splattered some Finetec pink and gold mica watercolour over the image when it was done. I put on some Prima half pearls that matched the colours and tada! Card is finished!

A watercoloured floral birthday card

Hello!

Today I am sharing something I haven't done in so long - a watercoloured card! I recently purchased Kuretake Zig clean color real brush pens and I have to say - WOW! They are so vibrant and easy to colour with and I really had a lot of fun creating this card. I also purchased Finetec Artist Mica watercolors and these are absolutely gorgeous as well! I used some gold in the middle of the blue flower and splattered some gold colour over the image once it was finished.

Today's card is a floral one! I have had a lot of fun with my new Finetec Artist Mica watercolours and a beautiful Poppy stamp by My Favorite Things on black watercolour paper (Van Gogh)! These colours are gorgeous and I decided to not try and perfect this and just play around to see where it took me. It went quite well and I decided it was definitely good enough to make a card of!

A sweet Halloween card

So Halloween is coming soon and I have been very inspired by all the cards I've seen in my feed the last 1,5 months! This will be the first year we celebrate Halloween, can you believe it? The holiday is growing in Sweden and when you have a little toddler you want to celebrate everything and have fun! 

I had this adorable digital stamp called Pretty Pumpkin Girl by Krista Smith and just had to put her on a card this year. I have coloured her with Copics and used some gorgeous black rainbow design papers from Graphic 45.

A little something for you (MFT sketch challenge) card

Hello again!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the new sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things! I loved the sketch and I actually had the star stencil already, just waiting to be used! I started inking the stencil but forgot to protect the rest of the card so I accidentally inked outside of the stencil... ah well, I decided to cut out the star instead and love the outcome. Sometimes mistakes can lift the project to a new level, since you're pushed to be creative and find solutions...
