Café de Paris and Tress Dancing scene

Hello!

Today I'm here to show you a card that is more me than the last cards I have made. With limited spare time nowadays, I've chosen to make more simple cards and have been focusing on colouring. Today though, I have made a card with lots of embellishments and put in more effort.. :) I have been wanting to colour this gorgeous background Cafe de Paris from Make it Crafty for a while now and today it was time!

This is my card..
Ok so where to start..? I have been using design paper from KDesigns, LOVE them! I have also used Inka Golds on the image and the heart swirl from Magnolia. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The Love lock charm to the right is a gift from a special friend :) The sentiment down to the left says "Hug" in Swedish and I have used both a stamp and a die from Roxstamps to create the tickets. The butterflies (a must for me!!) are made of Martha Stewart clay and inked with Inka Gold. I have also used shells from Live and Love Crafts behind the big flowers, they're wonderful!! The clock die is from Tim Holtz and inked with Vintage photo. This card is also my entry to the sketch challenge Make it Crafty has this month! Have been playing around with the elements, but they're all there! :)

I have been colouring this scene with Distress Ink Pads. You may see some sparkling spots where I have used Inka Golds :) The stamps are from Make it Crafty and called Café de Paris and Tress Dancing.

Thanks for stopping by, wish you all happy crafting!

A sepia matchbox

Hiii everyone!

A lot of work and a lot less time for crafting is how my reality is right now :) But I finally found some time to craft yesterday and coloured this beautiful stamp from Make it Crafty in sepia, which is the hard colour challenge over at Makeitcolourful.com. :) It was the first time I ever tried out colouring in sepia and although I made a mistake with her skin on this one, I am very happy with the result for being my first time! I had an idea about altering a matchbox and use this image to that and this became the result!

The colours I have used for the image are scattered straw, vintage photo and walnut stain distress ink pads. I inked the butterflies that I just bought freshly from Joy of Craft with vintage photo and then I coloured them with Inka Gold Old Silver. The clay embellishments are made of clay from Martha Stewart and the letter molds from her too. The corner of clay are inked with a little vintage photo.

I tried inking the edges of the matchbox, but it was kind of hard because the edges are kind of shiny, so the colour wouldn't really stick to it, but some of it did and so I left it like this, kind of happy with it :)

I almost feel like a new person today, can you imagine what healing power crafting has!? Stress relief, that's what it is!

I hope you crafting time isn't as limited as mine have been the last couple of weeks! ;)
Hugs!
